I am Pepe. Or actually my name is Juuso, but it’s too difficult for most people that aren’t Finnish, so somewhere along the way, in Argentina I think, Pepe stuck. This is a platform for me to channel things that I am interested in: social issues, politics and skateboarding. A bit of a crazy mix, undoubtedly. But then I think it probably looks like the creator.
I have always liked to take photos, but I’ve never really made any use of it. So with this I am exploring that avenue a little bit. I recently handed in for revision my PhD in international relations on social movements and theory of social change. Right now I am tired of writing academically. Thus, for now it will mainly be photos, but whenever something interesting happens, I will accompany the photos with some analysis. There is no particular reason for this, at least for now. Just need to do something that makes me feel creative.
